Winning Weekend

We had a big team of runners saddled up across Victoria and South Australia on Saturday with the winners rolling in.

The tough Plein Ciel continued on with his outstanding Australian form, rising through the ranks as a maiden winner four starts ago, to making it four from four when he took out the $80,000 Benchmark 84 Handicap in front of his very excited owners at Caulfield. Whilst Plein Ciel continues to impress, Burning Front failed to let us down when he got the stable our second winner for the day and broke through this preparation in the $90,000 Open Handicap. Peeling off their backs at the top of the straight he put in a strong performance to go on and win by half a length.

With a winning double at Caulfield it was Gallic Chieftain who got the team a treble for the day when he crossed the border and took out the Benchmark 82 Handicap at Morphettville, South Australia in an impressive 3.2 length win over stablemate Shikarpour.

Overall it was a successful days racing with a total 3 winners and 5 minor placings from our team of 10 runners that went around. Congratulations to all involved!
