Winning Double at The Valley!

Lyuba returned in style on Saturday and increased her winning record when she saluted for the fourth time at just her sixth start. Ridden a treat by Ben Allen in the Benchmark 84 Handicap for the mares she settled in the one out one back position, hitting the front at the 100m where she went onto win narrowly. It was a good effort by the mare who was having her first start since May.

Black Sheep made it a winning double for the team when he continued on with his handy run of form taking out the Benchmark 78 Handicap. Settling in a nice position for Brad Rawiller he travelled well throughout – approaching the turn he peeled out 3 wide and took over the lead where he thundered away to easily defeat Flying Light by 1.8 lengths. Saturday’s win was Black Sheep’s 3rd from his past 5 starts.

Congratulations to everyone involved in what was another good weekend of racing for the team!
