Tall Ship wins Werribee Cup

Tall Ship added to his own Cup collection on Sunday when he secured the Listed TAB Werribee Cup over 2600m.

The imported galloper won the Stawell, Terang and Warrnambool Cups during the year and jockey Brad Rawiller believes this won’t be his last cup either.

Sent out the raging favourite in the race, Brad bided his time before making a dash around the field at the 600m mark. From here it was all over going on to win comfortably by 2.5 lengths.

Tall Ship will now be aimed at the Bagot Handicap at Flemington on New Year’s Day.

Congratulations to OTI and the many many connections involved.
