Most Husbands Impresses On Debut

The very cleverly named Most Husbands, was super impressive winning a 1200m Three-Year-Old Maiden on his debut at Swan Hill last Monday. From the mare No Say, he looked a forlorn hope early in the straight. However once jockey Dean Yendall was able to steer him into the clear, he sprouted wings down the middle of the track and drew away for an outstanding victory. A son of Testa Rossa, he was purchased by Geelong trainer Kelvin Bourke on behalf of his trainer Darren Weir, for $27,000 as a yearling. He was then syndicated to some very good stable clients that include Mark Hunter, Tony Bates and Carlton CEO Greg Swann, who have enjoyed success with another stable favourite, Broken.
