Flying V - Rageese

Rageese stamped himself as a serious racehorse as a two and three year old in Sydney when trained by the Hawkes team, but he seemed to lose his way earlier in the year and was transferred to our stable.

Rageese has been located at our beach stable, a completely different routine to what he would’ve been used to.

Having his first start for the stable at Sandown on Saturday, Rageese returned to winning form with a 1.25 length win in the 3yo Handicap over 1300m.

“It was no good training him on the track. He’s been at the beach stable all preparation,” said Weir following his win.

Now with a win beside his name we are hopeful a confidence boost can see him return to bigger and better races in the future.
