First Cup on New Track

With Signoff out of the Pakenham Cup, it was left up to Tooleybuc Kid to represent the stable and he didn’t disappoint winning the first Cup held at the new track.

From a wide barrier, Brad Rawiller allowed him to find his feet in the early stages settling in the second half of the field, three wide with cover. “If you’re three wide with cover, you can be rolling when you need to and we got a beautiful track into it.”

From the top of the straight, he made his way down the centre of the track to go on and score by half a head to Kareeming and Lucciola.

Tooleybuc Kid has proven to be an ultra-consistent performer winning 6 of his 27 starts and placing 14 other times.
