Evens Wins Impressively At Moonee Valley

Three-year-old filly Evens impressive win at Moonee Valley on Friday night was the start of a successful night for connections. The daughter of Get Square was purchased by Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock’s Darren Dance for $20,000 at the 2011 Magic Millions Sale. The main point of attraction was the fact she was closely related to another ATB runner Queenera, who later in the night went within a nose of giving connections the perfect night. Both horses are raced by Dance in partnership with the Gereaux family, under the Bungan Street Thoroughbreds banner. This combination has been very successful over the past few years with the deeds of Listed winner Broadway Harmony and the ultra-consistent Rue Maple to name a couple. Evens is now likely to head towards a 3YO Fillies race at Caulfield next week while Queenera will have another chance to gain city success at Sandown on Jaunary 9.
