Country Racehorse of the Year

Tall Ship has been named the Country Racing Victoria Horse of the Year for the season 2014/2015.

The Sea the Stars import arrived last year and made an immediate impact on Australian soil.

He won the Terang and Stawell Cups before adding the Listed Warrnambool Cup to his CV.

The five year old is now being aimed at the Spring riches and returned with a nice first up run at Caulfield on the night he was crowned.

It is the second consecutive year the stable has won the award with Hurdy Gurdy Man taking out the title last season.
