Burning Front On Fire

It took Burning Front 5 starts to get a win on the board this preparation but since that day at Caulfield back in January there has been nothing stopping him as he continues to prove too good each time he steps onto the track. Since that victory, he went on to pick up some rich Vobis Gold bonuses when he took out the Vobis Gold Star at Moonee Valley by well over 2 lengths before he made it three in a row with a narrow victory back at Caulfield. Taking on the rise in grade he showed just how good he is with an impressive display in the Group 3 $150,000 Carlyon Cup, proving a narrow victor over stablemate Humidor.

But on Sunday he put in his most dominant performance to date with a huge 4 length win over his rivals in the Vobis Gold Eldorado at Wangaratta on Cup Day. Lumping the top weight of 60kg, he rolled forward with Brad Rawiller in the saddle to settle outside the leader. Travelling well into the straight he took over the lead and thrashed the rest of the field – picking up even more Vobis bonuses and making it four in a row!

Congratulations to everyone involved in Burning Front’s success over the past couple of months and here’s hoping he can continue on with his rich vein of form!
