Adelaide Cup Bound

Taiyoo added another win to his name when impressively his first stakes success in the Listed Australia Torney Night Cup over 2500m at Moonee Valley.

Although it is 3 weeks between runs, which is usually against the book for a stayer, Taiyoo will now contest the Group 2 Adelaide Cup on Monday 9th March, Labour Day.

From his last seven starts he has an outstanding record of 6 wins and from his 25 career runs to date he has 12 wins to his name.

“It’s just a credit to Darren Weir’s setup and ability as a trainer that he is able to keep this horse up this long and firing like he has for the second preparation in a row,” said Rawiller who has accompanied Taiyoo to 5 of his 6 win this preparation.

A special mention also must to go this strapper, Sho Sanya, who loves the “Harada” more than you could ever imagine. Sho has the pleasure of riding him most days and its not often that she misses strapping him at the races. Sho has even invented the “Harada Party” where she celebrates each of his wins until all hours of the morning with fellow colleagues.

Fingers crossed the outstanding preparation can continue across the border in South Australia.
