Friday Success!

We had quite a few runners saddled up on Friday with Hamilton racing during the day and Moonee Valley nights back into full swing. Holy Freeze (top left) kicked off the day’s winners with an impressive debut performance that saw him break his maiden over 1100m in the first race. Settling down outside the leader with Johnny Allen on board, he got the job done easily – taking over as they entered the straight and kicking clear to win by a length. Electric Shadow (below) made it a double at Hamilton when she broke her maiden before Choisborder (top right) got the job done under lights at the Valley to make it a treble for the day. Following two second placings, Choisborder broke through at start number three over 1200m. Ridden by Brad Rawiller, he rolled forward to settle outside the leader Seized. The pair travelled well into the straight but Choisborder ran on determinedly and fought hard to out-bob Seized on the line. It was a fighting performance by the colt and was great to see him get a well-deserved win on the board.

Congratulations to everyone involved!
