Awesome Anjana

Exciting filly Anjana impressed on Saturday when she took her winning form to town and dominated in the $100,000 Two-Year-Old Fillies Handicap at Moonee Valley.

Anjana is no stranger to the winner's stall having kicked off her racing career with a Maiden victory at Wangaratta before heading to Ballarat for her second start where she ploughed through the heavy going to record victory by an outstanding six lengths.

Lining up at the Valley for her third career start, Anjana looked classes above her rivals as she angled into the clear and sprinted quickly to salute by three lengths over Goldifox and Cosmic Ruby - in the process keeping her perfect record intact.

Roll The Dice Syndications certainly have an exciting prospect on their hands and we're all looking forward to the spring with her. Congratulations to everyone involved in her early success!

Darren Weir Racing finished Saturday with a treble across three tracks with Gimme Strength making it two wins in a row at Bendigo whilst Mongolian Wolf was back in the winner's circle following a brave win across the border at Morphettville. He out-stayed his rivals in the Benchmark 82 Handicap over 2400m.
